Richard Timothy Jones is an American actor born in Kobe, Japan on January 16, 1972. Active in film and television productions since the early 1990s, he has built a substantial list of acting credits. His television appearances include roles in Ally McBeal, Judging Amy, CSI: Miami, Girlfriends, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Grey's Anatomy, Hawaii Five-0, Narcos, and Criminal Minds. Since 2018, he has portrayed Police Sergeant Wade Grey on the ABC police drama The Rookie. His film work includes playing Laveinio Slim Hightower in Rick Famuyiwa's coming-of-age film The Wood, Lamont Carr in Disney's Full Court Miracle, and Mike in Tyler Perry's dramatic films.
