Paula Raymond was an American model and actress born in San Francisco, California on November 23, 1924. She passed away on December 31, 2003 at the age of 79. In 1950, she signed a contract with MGM, performing opposite leading men such as Cary Grant and Dick Powell. Earlier in her career, she appeared in film noir thrillers including City That Never Sleeps alongside Gig Young and Marie Windsor. Later, she established a reputation in horror films, playing the heroine in The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms in 1952. During the late 1950s and 1960s, she acted in numerous television programs and low-budget horror movies, such as Perry Mason, Hawaiian Eye, 77 Sunset Strip, and Blood of Dracula's Castle with Alexander D'Arcy and John Carradine.
