Pamela Franklin is a British actress born in Yokohama, Japan. She made her film debut at the age of 11 in The Innocents (1961). Franklin received favourable critical notices for her portrayal of an unusually worldly teenager in the suspense film The Nanny (1965). Her first adult role was as a kidnap victim in The Night of the Following Day. She is also known for her portrayal of "Sandy" in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1969). Franklin appeared in films from 1961 until 1976. She is a former ballet student of the Elmhurst School of Ballet in England. Franklin has a known credits count of 54.
