Noble Henry Willingham, Jr. was an American actor born on August 31, 1931, in Mineola, Texas, and he died on January 17, 2004, at the age of seventy-two. He was the son of Ruby Ladelle and railroad worker and farmer Noble Henry Willingham, Sr., and he graduated from North Texas in 1953 before teaching government and economics at Sam Houston High School in Houston. Willingham appeared in more than thirty films, including feature films such as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective in 1994 and Up Close & Personal in 1996, and he appeared in many television shows. He was best known for his role as C.D. Parker on the television series Walker, Texas Ranger. His television credits also included guest appearances on Bonanza, Gunsmoke, The Waltons, Mary Tyler Moore, The Rockford Files, Alice, Dallas, CHiPs, The Dukes of Hazzard, The A-Team, L.A. Law, Home Improvement, and Murder, She Wrote, as well as co-starring in a 1991 episode of Quantum Leap with Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell.
