Melisa Sözen is a Turkish actress born on July 6, 1985, in Istanbul, Turkey. She started her professional career at the early age of 15 and studied in the theatre department of Pera Fine Arts High School. Sözen has starred in many Turkish television series, including Cemberimde Gul Oya, Bicak Sirtı, Bir Bulut Olsam, The Magnificent Century, Kirmizi Oda, and Şubat, in which she played two different roles. Her film credits include Bana sans Dile directed by Cagan Irmak, Okul, O Simdi Mahkum, Cenneti Beklerken, Eve Giden Yol 1914, Para Dolar, Casus Kizlar, Av Mevsimi, Bir Varmis Bir Yokmus, and Nuri Bilge Ceylan's Palme d'Or winning Winter Sleep in 2014. She also appeared in the third season of Eric Rochant's series.
