Martha Hyer
Biography
Martha Hyer was an American actress born in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended Northwestern University and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi fraternity. Her acting career began with the 1946 film The Locket. Hyer went on to appear in numerous films, including So Big, Sabrina, The Delicate Delinquent, Houseboat, Ice Palace, Desire in the Dust, The Carpetbaggers, First Men in the Moon, Blood on the Arrow, and The Sons of Katie Elder, among many others. She costarred with Keenan Wynn in Bikini Beach. Hyer's acting credits include over 90 films and television shows. She passed away on May 31, 2014, at the age of 89.
