Liu Yu is a Chinese actor, dancer, and musician. He was born in Jing County, Anhui, China on August 24, 2000. Liu Yu studied at the Beijing Dance Academy but withdrew due to injuries. He participated in iQiyi's national cultural talent contest, The Chinese Youth, placing 2nd in 2018. Liu Yu trained in Beijing Opera and released singles of that genre in 2019. He made his acting debut in the 2020 series "Dear Herbal Lord," playing the supporting role of Chu Qi Xian. In 2021, Liu Yu participated in the Tencent survival show "Produce Camp 2021" as a contestant, where he ranked 1st. Liu Yu has known credits in acting.
