Overview

The television series "The Vendetta of An" is set in a historical Chinese setting. The story follows Xie Huai'an, the son of the creator of the Huben Army. Xie Huai'an's family is massacred, and he survives. He then spends ten years in hiding before returning to Chang'an. Upon his return, Xie Huai'an assumes a disguise as a registrar, a low-ranking official. Xie Huai'an also becomes embroiled in the intrigue of the palace, where power struggles are a constant presence.
