Go Fridge is a Chinese cooking show produced by Tencent Video that premiered in 2015. The program is based on the South Korean television series Please Take Care of My Refrigerator, for which the rights were purchased. In each episode, two guests bring their personal refrigerators to the filming studio to discuss their contents with the hosts and a group of chefs. After the contents of the refrigerators are examined, the guest selects two chefs to prepare a meal. The chefs are given 15 minutes to complete their dishes, during which they must incorporate a randomized extra ingredient into their cooking. Once the time expires, the guest evaluates the food and chooses a winner based solely on their own preference. The show centers on this interactive format, combining conversation with the hosts and guests alongside the competitive culinary challenge. By utilizing the ingredients found within the guests' own refrigerators, the series highlights the improvisational skills of the participating chefs under strict time constraints.
