Biography
Lam Ching-Ying (born Lin Genbao; December 27, 1952 – November 8, 1997) was a Hong Kong actor, stuntman, action director, and martial artist. He was a member of Madame Fan Fok-Fa's Spring And Autumn Drama School and the Sammo Hung Stuntmen's Association. Lam gained international recognition for his role as the stoic Taoist priest in Mr. Vampire (1985). Known for his physical grace and discipline, he contributed to numerous action films as both performer and choreographer. He died in 1997 of liver cancer.
