Bloody Ring is a 1974 action film featuring a runtime of one hour and twenty-seven minutes and an R rating. The story follows a character named Mr. Chi as he travels to Thailand. He goes to assist a close friend named Nai Sin in preparing his Muay Thai boxers for a battle against Japanese boxers who have arrived in Bangkok to seek revenge for a past loss. Rather than simply training Nai Sin's students to face the Japanese competitors, Mr. Chi ends up having to take on the Japanese himself. This situation arises because he must help one of Nai Sin's top students fend off the Japanese after that student fails to follow through on throwing a boxing match. The film falls under the action genre and explores the conflicts that arise surrounding these matches in Thailand.
