Known for portraying Brook Soso in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, she received three ensemble Screen Actors Guild Awards for her work on the show. She also originated the role of Dawn Pinkett in the Broadway musical Waitress. Her film and television credits include acting in the thriller film Nerve in 2016 and appearing in High Maintenance in 2016.
