Jun Shishido is a Japanese anime director born on November 8, 1976, in Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. He is also known by the name 宍戸淳. After joining the animation production company Imagine, he made his directorial debut in 2001 with the twelfth episode of Hajime no Ippo. Following his work with Imagine, he moved to the animation studio Madhouse.
