Juliette Lewis
Biography
Juliette Lewis, born June 21, 1973, is an American actress and singer known for her roles in independent and arthouse films. She gained prominence in the early 1990s and received critical recognition, including an Academy Award nomination and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. The daughter of character actor Geoffrey Lewis, she began her career in television at age 14 and made her film debut in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989). She starred in Martin Scorsese's films and appeared in Conviction alongside Hilary Swank. In 2010, she played Ariel in a film that won the US Dramatic Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Lewis formed the rock band Juliette and the Licks in 2003 and has released solo material since 2009. She has over 28 million followers on Instagram.
