Joseph Michael Cross is an American actor and producer born on May 28, 1986, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Beginning his career as a child actor, he appeared in the 1998 films Desperate Measures, Wide Awake, and Jack Frost. From 1999 to 2004, he starred as Casey Hughes in the CBS soap opera As the World Turns. He later won the Satellite Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in the 2006 film Running with Scissors. His additional film credits include Flags of Our Fathers in 2006, Untraceable and Milk in 2008, and Lincoln in 2012. In 2017, he made appearances in the HBO limited series Big Little Lies and the Netflix crime drama series Mindhunter.
