Lily Jane Collins is a British and American actress and model born on March 18, 1989, in Guildford, Surrey, England, United Kingdom, and raised in Los Angeles. She began performing on screen at the age of two in the BBC comedy drama Growing Pains. In the late 2000s, she began acting and modelling more regularly, achieving a career breakthrough with her performance in the sports-drama film The Blind Side. Her subsequent feature film roles include the sci-fi action-horror Priest in 2011, the psychological action-thriller Abduction in 2011, the fantasy film Mirror Mirror in 2012, and the urban fantasy film The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
