Biography
John Burke Krasinski is an American actor and filmmaker born on October 20, 1979. He is widely recognized for his portrayal of Jim Halpert on the NBC sitcom The Office, which aired from 2005 to 2013. During his time on the series, he also served as a producer and occasional director. His film credits include License to Wed, Leatherheads, Away We Go, It's Complicated, Something Borrowed, Aloha, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Detroit, and A Quiet Place. He directed and co-wrote A Quiet Place in 2018. That same year, he began starring as the titular character in the Amazon series Jack Ryan. He received Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2007 and 2008 for his ensemble performance.
