A graduate of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts, she began her career performing improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre after gaining early experience in local theatre productions. Plaza is recognized for her extensive body of work, which includes 130 known credits in film and television. She has established herself as a versatile performer, transitioning from her roots in live comedy to prominent roles in both network television and feature films.
