Joe Russo is an American filmmaker born on July 18, 1971. He works with his brother, Anthony Russo, collectively known as the Russo brothers. They are known for directing films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. The brothers have also directed and produced episodes of several television series, including Arrested Development, Community, and Happy Endings.
