Biography
Elizabeth Olsen is an American actress born February 16, 1989, in Sherman Oaks, California. She began acting at age four and made her film debut in Martha Marcy May Marlene in 2011, receiving critical praise. Olsen gained international recognition for portraying Wanda Maximoff / The Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe starting in 2014. Her performance in the miniseries WandaVision in 2021 earned her nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Critics’ Choice Television Award. She received a BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination and graduated from New York University. Olsen also acted alongside her sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in her early career.
