Biography
Jimmie Walker is an American actor and comedian born on June 25, 1947. He is best known for his portrayal of James Evans Jr. on the CBS television series Good Times, which originally aired from 1974-1979. Walker was nominated for Golden Globe awards for Best Supporting Actor In A Television Series in 1975 and 1976. His character on Good Times was known for the catchphrase "Dy-no-mite!" which he also used in a mid-1970s TV commercial for Panasonic. Walker also appeared in the films Let's Do It Again with John Amos, and The Greatest Thing That Alm.
