Biography

Jay Simpson is an English actor known for his work in film, television and theatre. He gained recognition for portraying Ian 'Brookie' Brooke in the television series Foyle's War. His television credits include appearances in Recovery with David Tennant and Sarah Parish, Hot Money, Bad Crowd, A Touch of Frost, Casualty, Primeval, The Bill, Peep Show, Rome, Ashes to Ashes, Murder in Suburbia and Soundproof. He also appeared in the television film The Firm in 1988. His film work includes Hush Your Mouth, The Holiday, Pride and Prejudice and Erik the Viking. Simpson provided the voice of 'The Tree of Temptation' in Big Brother. He has also appeared in Chernobyl and Frontier.
