Having appeared on stage since he was a child, he studied for three years at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. In 1982, he secured his first television role as Hawkwing on the BBC2 series Jackanory Playhouse. Throughout his career, he has made appearances in numerous television series, including Viper, Beverly Hills, 90210, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Charmed, and Angel.
