Born on December 23, 1936, in Los Angeles, California, Stacy was involved in a motorcycle accident in 1973, resulting in the amputation of his left leg and arm. His girlfriend died in the accident. Stacy returned to acting in 1975 before retiring in 1992. He passed away on September 9, 2016, at the age of 79. Stacy also went by the name Jim Stacy.
