Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell is an American actress born on March 27, 1970, in Los Angeles. She is known for her roles as Dr. Juliet Burke on ABC's Lost and FBI agent Erica Evans on V. Her other notable film appearances include The Santa Clause 2 and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. Mitchell starred on the NBC series Revolution and has appeared on shows such as ER, Once Upon a Time, and The Expanse. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, Texas, where she moved with her mother shortly after birth. Her mother, Josephine Marian Mitchell, and stepfather, Joseph Day Mitchell, are lawyers based in Dallas.
