Edwin Martel Basil Hodge is an American actor born on January 26, 1985, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He is the older brother of actor Aldis Hodge. Edwin Hodge is recognized for portraying Dante Bishop, also known as the Bloody Stranger, in The Purge film series. He holds the distinction of being the only actor to appear in all of the first three films in the franchise, which include The Purge in 2013, The Purge: Anarchy in 2014, and The Purge: Election Year in 2016. In addition to these roles, his film appearances include Die Hard with a Vengeance, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Big Momma's House, As Above, So Below, Take Me Home Tonight, and Red Dawn in 2012.
