Dominic Cooper is an English actor born on 2 June 1978 in Greenwich, London, England, UK. He is known for his portrayal of comic book characters, including Jesse Custer on the AMC show Preacher, and young Howard Stark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Cooper has also appeared in the Marvel productions Captain America: The First Avenger and Agent Carter. He played the role of Sky in Mamma Mia! and its sequel, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. Cooper has originated significant roles in productions by the Royal National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company, including the role of Dakin in the 2004 play The History Boys.
