Daniel Michael DeVito Jr., also known as Danny DeVito, is an American actor, comedian, director, and producer. He was born on November 17, 1944, in Asbury Park, New Jersey, United States. He first gained prominence for playing the dispatcher Louie De Palma on the television series Taxi, winning a Golden Globe and an Emmy for the role. He also plays Frank Reynolds on the sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which has run from 2006 to the present. In film, his acting credits include One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Terms of Endearment, Head Office, Ruthless People, Twins, Batman Returns, Jack the Bear, Junior, L.A.
