Charles Conrad Chad Lowe is an American actor born on January 15, 1968, in Dayton, Ohio. He is the younger brother of fellow actor Rob Lowe. Known for his work in television and film with a total of eighty-four known credits, he won an Emmy Award for his supporting role in Life Goes On, portraying a man suffering with HIV. In addition to that role, he has made recurring appearances on ER, Melrose Place, and Now and Again. One of his prominent later roles was Deputy White House Chief of Staff Reed Pollock during the sixth season of the television series 24.
