Gardell is known for playing Chicago police officer Mike Biggs on the television show Mike and Molly. His television credits also include appearing in a dozen episodes of My Name Is Earl as a police officer and starring in the recurring role of Lyle Winkler on Sullivan and Son. Additionally, he provided the voice of Santa in Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas. Throughout his career, Gardell has accumulated sixty-one known acting credits in the television and film industry.
