Alberto Morin was an actor born Salvador R. Lopez on December 26, 1902, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Also known as Albert Morin, his career included 128 known acting credits. Among his film work are Sierra torride in 1970, Rio Grande in 1950, and Milagro in 1988. During World War II, he served as an Office of Strategic Services officer and spoke seven languages fluently. In that period, he met director John Ford, who was a naval officer and also worked with the Office of Strategic Services. Following the war, Ford cast Morin in many of his films. Morin died on April 7, 1989, at the age of 86 in Burbank, California.
