Our Place, Dee Space 12.04.25

This week at Our Space, Dee Space… we CELEBRATED! 🌸🎉
We marked the arrival of spring, a whole year of magical sessions, and – most importantly – the wonderful, warm, and supportive community that makes it all so special.
From the start, the space was buzzing – with music from an old gramophone setting the tone. Beautiful blossom and wildflowers from our gardens became stunning table decorations. Leaves gathered from the local area were transformed into vibrant printed bunting. Even the local wildlife (in puppet form!) were treated to a feast of tasty mudpie recipes, served on a sunny picnic rug.
Everyone joined in around the ‘kitchen table’ to prepare the feast: dough was kneaded, pizzas and lemon biscuits were baked, fruit and veg chopped, and the table laid with festive vintage china and tablecloths from around the world.
Then came the feast – drinks in delicate china cups, delicious food shared, sipped, and savoured. There was laughter, dancing, and smiles all round. Pure joy. 💛
One community participant said:
“Brilliant again. Kids love it and just wow at the set up this time. Fab staff as always.”
