“Where is God? – Discovering Divine Presence in the Garden”
Have you ever looked at the chaos in your life or in the world and asked yourself, “Where is God in all of this?” There are times when God’s presence feels obvious, but there are also moments when it’s hard to see where God is working. The good news is that the Bible gives us a pattern—a way to recognize how God moves among us. From the story of Creation, to the life of Jesus, to the work of the Holy Spirit, Scripture continually reveals how God is present and active in our lives. In this series, we’ll explore four major gardens in the Bible. Each of these garden encounters shows us that God is always with us, offering grace for our journey and hope for our future. Let’s discover together how God meets us in the midst of our mess and leads us forward with love and purpose.
June 29 – “Are you still sleeping?” Psalm 69:1-3, Matthew 26:36-46
Jesus asks us to pray for him? It’s crazy, but true! Jesus invites us to be part of experiencing God in this world. God’s invitation for us is to be part of the plan of salvation (pray with me), working alongside Christ in prayer and power. What does it mean for God to be with us even when we are working with Jesus in the Spirit but feel worn out and even defeated?
