“That day, there was no tension at all. Having just finished the warm-up, Minh Triet entered the exercise with very good physical condition. Her movements were good, comparable to national athletes, not just youth teams. Everything is very fine.
And injuries happen. Honestly, we couldn’t believe how heavy everything was. After being injured, Triet was completely conscious. We took her to E hospital for surgery, and after the surgery, everything was normal.
That night, at 3:30 in the morning, I returned home and couldn’t help but think of Triet. So I went back to hospital E to see how she was doing.
The next day, Triet said he was hungry, so I bought a bowl of porridge and he ate it all deliciously. The child is talking normally and I believe he has recovered 70-80%.”
Why did you switch to Bach Mai, coach?
– Triet felt bad after that. I remember when I went to Bach Mai on November 28, the hospital was overloaded, I had to rely on all my connections to be able to be admitted to the hospital.
Triet has a problem in the cervical vertebrae C5 and C6, compressing the spinal cord. Swollen and unable to check everything. When I was able to do the test in Bach Mai, there was a very small piece from the rupture, affecting the lungs, which was a problem and required a second surgery in Bach Mai.
Is this injury rare, Coach?
– Honestly, no one can believe it. When I practice, I also fall on my head, and many athletes also fall. But I couldn’t understand why Triet was so seriously ill.
