Sharing about participating in the movie “Father’s Wish”, actor Hiep Ga said: “I accepted to participate in the movie because Hoang Thanh Long is my younger brother. This is his first movie so I support him.” for the male director. When I read the script, I found it very interesting and strange. Hopefully in the atmosphere of Tet and Spring, the film will bring gentle laughter to the audience.” Hiep Ga added that every time he makes a movie, he tries his best to play the role. As for how he feels, it depends on the audience. He thinks this is an interesting movie for everyone.
Actor Jimmii Khanh said his role in the movie He is somewhat of a villain when he plays a young Vietnamese-American man returning to Vietnam, with a mischievous and somewhat boastful personality, competing with his friends back home for a girlfriend.
“The difficulty in making this film project is that it was right at a time when the weather was harsh and cold, so the actors worked very hard. The last scene was done in 11-degree weather when it was almost 1 o’clock. In the morning, the actors’ limbs were frozen and they were not allowed to wear cold shirts because according to the script, they were allowed to wear thin shirts,” Jimmii Khanh confided.

Director Hoang Thanh Long said that when he invited actor Hiep Ga to participate in the film, he did not encounter any difficulties because he had a close relationship from before.
“To be honest, at first I thought it would be difficult to invite Mr. Hiep, but when I asked him, he immediately agreed. Mr. Hiep and I have known each other for a long time, 10 years ago, I was the host. I hang out with Mr. Phuc, “chicken” who is Mr. Hiep’s younger brother. I am lucky to have him love me and support me in making films,” Hoang Thanh Long confided.
The male director said that in real life, Hiep Ga is a friendly and sociable person. When making films, the senior artist always guides and shares a lot with the actors in the crew.

The director added: “The movie “Father’s Wish” will have humanistic things, that after the mistakes and shocks of youth, people will realize the value of family and love and live better.
“Many people say that Tet comedy is nonsense comedy, but for me, there are only good or bad movies, there is no nonsense comedy. Because the nature of comedy is the exaggeration or the opposite of normal things, there is a boundary. There is a thin line between nonsense and laughter. People who suit your taste find it funny, people who don’t say it’s nonsense,” the director born in 1995 confided.
Hoang Thanh Long (1995) was born and raised in Linh Toai commune, Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa province. Since childhood, he has had a desire and dream to pursue an artistic career and become a comedian who brings joy and laughter to everyone.

When asked “Why did you choose to make a Tet comedy film at this time because in the past few years, many directors have been complaining about the film’s revenue?”, director Hoang Thanh Long said, he made the film as if it were fate. He wanted to try his hand at a Tet comedy to see how well he could work.
“In the past five years, some directors have not been interested in making Tet comedy films because it is difficult to get funding and the revenue on platforms is not high, but I still want to take the risk because I want to make my own film. , to personally “shape” a work with the most humane script”, Hoang Thanh Long shared.
The male director said that he spent his own money to make the movie “Father’s Wish”, not because he was “playing around” but because he wanted the most neat and professional movie.
“I feel very happy doing Tet comedy. When I make films independently, I don’t have to depend on anyone. With money and strength, I will be the best,” he shared.
