“I told you, I have no plans to return to the music industry. They say I’m working on a new album with some other people, but that’s not true,” Britney Spears shared, posting along with the picture “Salome carries the head of Saint John” on Instagram.
She added: “When I write, I write for fun or for others! For those who have read my books, there are many things about me that they don’t know. I have written more than 20 songs for other people in the past two years!”.
In the past, Julia Michaels and Britney Spears have worked together, but the details of this working relationship have never been made clear. Michaels is known for writing the lyrics for Spears’s song “Slumber Party”, a song from her album “Glory” (2016), which was also her last studio album.
Britney Spears often shares that she often works as a “ghost writer” or simply a writer, writing music for other artists without revealing her identity in projects. The female singer said she likes to enjoy the feeling of working without frivolous attention.
