AGI Displays Cutting-edge New Memory and Storage Products at Computex 2026

by archytele

AGI Technology unveiled a wide array of high-performance memory and storage solutions at Computex 2026 in Taipei, Taiwan. Centered on the theme Think Big, Build Grand, the company debuted DDR5 RDIMM server memory, PCIe Gen5 SSDs, and industrial-grade “Smart Life” solutions designed for AI and edge computing markets.

DDR5 RDIMM and the Shift Toward AI Memory Bandwidth

As AI server performance bottlenecks move away from raw processing and toward memory bandwidth, the industry is seeing a surge in high-density, high-speed modules. To address this, TechPowerUp reported that AGI introduced the RD238, a DDR5 RDIMM available in 32 GB and 64 GB densities with speeds of DDR5-5600 and DDR5-6400. These modules are designed for 24-hour high-load environments, utilizing screened high-quality original ICs to maintain signal integrity in AI data centers. The company is also pushing into new form factors to optimize space and efficiency. The CA238 DDR5 CAMM2 module offers dual-channel capacities of 32 GB and 64 GB with speeds reaching DDR5-7200, while the LC238 LPCAMM2 comes in 16 GB and 32 GB densities with LPDDR5 speeds between 6400 and 7200.

Gen 5 NVMe Speed and RAID Integration

On the storage front, AGI is targeting the extreme end of the performance spectrum. The AI858 stands out as a high-end M.2 NVMe Gen 5 SSD capable of sequential reads up to 14 GB/s. To maximize this throughput, the company showcased the drive integrated into 4-drive NVMe RAID cards, a configuration that suggests a move toward professional workstation and server-grade storage arrays. For the mainstream market, the AI828 provides a more balanced approach. This Gen 4 SSD utilizes a DRAMless controller and delivers sequential reads of up to 7.4 GB/s and sequential writes of up to 6.7 GB/s.

The portable storage lineup reflects a tiered strategy based on interface speed:
  • ED368: A high-end drive featuring a 40 Gbps USB4 interface, capacities up to 4 TB, and sequential reads of 3.8 GB/s.
  • ED268: A performance-segment drive with a 20 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface and 1 TB capacity, maxing out at 2 GB/s.
  • ED158: A cable-free option with a 10 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, 1 GB/s max speeds, and capacities of 512 GB or 1 TB.

The Dan Da Dan Crossover and Gamer Aesthetics

AGI is attempting to merge elite hardware with pop culture to capture the “hardcore” enthusiast market. According to AGI Technology, the company has launched a strategic collaboration with the anime DAN DA DAN. This partnership manifests in high-end internal DRAM, SSDs, and a specific version of the ED268 Rugged External SSD. The ED268 Rugged variant is built for durability, featuring IP-rated protection and 2-meter drop resistance alongside its 20Gbps speeds. For desktop builders, the UD858 Turbojet serves as the primary gamer-grade memory offering. It features RGB LED lighting and 16 GB x2 dual-channel kits at DDR5-6000 speeds. For those chasing extreme benchmarks, AGI displayed a high-speed Dan Da Dan variant of the U858 that reaches DDR5-10000 speeds. This is paired with a patented thermochromic heat-dissipation memory that changes color based on temperature.

Industrial Edge Computing and Zero-Frame-Loss

Beyond the consumer and AI server markets, AGI is entering the industrial sector with its “Smart Life” series. These products are engineered for harsh environments where data integrity is non-negotiable, particularly in edge computing and high-frequency data processing. AGI Technology, official product description This specialized performance ensures that video and data streams remain intact without dropped frames, a critical requirement for industrial monitoring and automated systems.

The company’s expansion into smaller-form storage also includes the TF138 Supreme Pro, a Switch-compatible microSDXC UHS-I card with read speeds of 100 MB/s in 128 GB and 256 GB capacities. For high-endurance needs, such as FPV drones and surveillance cameras, AGI introduced a microSDXC A2 V30 card with a guaranteed 30 MB/s write speed. By diversifying across server RDIMMs, ruggedized anime-themed SSDs, and industrial edge solutions, AGI is positioning itself as a flexible provider capable of supporting both the aesthetic demands of gamers and the stability requirements of AI data centers. The next phase of this rollout will likely depend on the adoption of CAMM2 and LPCAMM2 standards in upcoming laptop and small-form-factor hardware.
