Queenland police have arrested a teenager as part of Investigations into a fatal stabbing at a shopping center at ipswitch West of Brisbane Michael reny reports from ipswitch this 15-year-old uh boy he's from Ripley he handed himself in at the Ipswich police station last night and he'll appear here at the Ipswich magist Court this morning so yeah this 15-year-old boy has been charged with one C of of unlawful use of a motor motor vehicle that's in relation to an alleged stolen car but this is all related to what happened uh at the Red Bank Plains shopping Village uh on Saturday night it was early on Saturday night um it still would have been daylight G and it was uh 7-year-old grandmother violene white she was at at the shops with her six-year-old granddaughter they were just there doing some shopping and uh as she's gone to leave the shopping center she's got down To the uh Car Park area that's underground under the shopping center and that's where she has been attacked and she has been stabbed in the chest and from the injuries uh from the injuries she's sustained uh she she died from those injuries earlier on we did hear from the ipswitch mayor Theresa Harding uh she says the community of Red Bank Plains is calling for more police we've been told by the police there'll be uh a much more visible police presence not just here but in other shopping centers and other those public areas in M Bank Plains so Jemma police is still uh Searching for uh three other uh people that were in the vehicle that were spotted on CCTV Vision uh getting out of the 2009 hunde gets uh that was in the suburb of Springfield lakes that that Vision was captured Michael reny reporting there from I switch
