It is known that the demand for night operations during the 2024 Lunar New Year period (from January 21 to February 25, 2024 in the time frame from 9:00 p.m. to 5:59 a.m.) is expected to reach more than 1,800 flights, accounting for about 8% compared to the total number of domestic flights operated throughout the network.

Regarding the issue of serving people traveling during the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, the Vietnam Aviation Administration has just sent a document to the People’s Committees of the provinces: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Binh Dinh; Phu Yen and Gia Lai on enhanced coordination during the Tet peak.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Aviation Administration has directed airlines, airports, and aviation service providers to review the entire process and develop service plans. Units arrange human resources, infrastructure, equipment, and vehicles at the airport, ensuring readiness for exploitation plans, ensuring order and safety of air traffic. The purpose is to meet and serve the travel needs of the people well, not to let passengers return home to celebrate Tet late due to lack of vehicles.
