All defendants voluntarily remedied the consequences
In the 3 years from 2020 to 2022, Diep and Duong received money and issued renovated motor vehicle certificates for 286 vehicles with a total of more than 391 million VND. Of which, according to regulations, 176 million VND is collected, the additional amount that car owners are forced to pay is 215 million VND.

The total amount of bribes received to complete the motor vehicle registration was 344 million, of which 215 million VND was paid to the company, Diep collected 126 million VND from 21 car owners who requested designs and Duong collected 2.8 million VND. of 7 vehicles.
According to the People’s Procuracy of Thai Binh province, during the investigation and prosecution process, the defendants honestly confessed their crimes in accordance with the documents and evidence collected during the investigation process. check.
The subjects in the case all voluntarily remedied the consequences and voluntarily declared, which was determined to be a mitigating circumstance.
Notably, according to the People’s Procuracy of Thai Binh province, for tax evasion, from May 2020 to the end of 2020, the Company collected 168 million in accident assessment and vehicle inspection fees according to regulations, But the Company only issued a tax invoice of 42 million VND, the remaining 126 million VND did not issue a tax invoice.

On the other hand, the Company and Luu Minh Hai have not been prosecuted for tax evasion, so the above behavior does not constitute the crime of “Tax Evasion”.
