This makes me very sad, so I have to bring the matter to light. Previously, on the morning of January 12, musician Luu Thien Huong shared a clip recording the scene of Meritorious Artist Vo Thi Minh Huyen throwing the phone at her. Luu Thien Huong wrote a rather long status line on her personal Facebook page to clearly state the cause of the “physical impact”.

“The clip below is Ms. Huyen’s behavior when she slandered a colleague, slandered a student for using a laptop (without a soundcard) to process the beat sound she had made and export it to a wave file. Ms. Huyen did not agree with the study. The student singing the beat was “master”. Because Ms. Huyen did not understand the explanation, her colleague asked her to call the technical department to check and explain the expertise to her, but she did not agree. The colleague saw that she had some questions. The statement was offensive and had no basis, so she used her phone to record it to protect herself. Ms. Huyen immediately threw the phone at her colleague.

I deeply condemn this action of an art lecturer. We request the competent authorities to strictly handle it so as not to affect the environment that many people are working hard to build, including the extremely dedicated and harmonious teachers. Be polite and behave well with students and colleagues. Students studying art need a clean and beautiful green environment to study and practice to become future artists,” musician Luu Thien Huong wrote.

According to the female musician, her action was to protect the right, using her expertise to confirm that the students were not wrong, and she was insulted and almost abused by Meritorious Artist Vo Thi Minh Huyen.

“I am very sad to have to post this bad clip because I know it will greatly affect the perspective of the formal music training environment. I had to immediately stop teaching here because a lecturer committed violent behavior.” The school seriously violates professional ethics,” Luu Thien Huong wrote on her personal page.

She also said: “I was told by my colleagues that Ms. Huyen is still very happy and has no attitude about her wrong actions. I think that is a disregard for public opinion that needs to be condemned. I hope Hopefully this incident will not be “hidden” but the leadership needs to handle it transparently.”

Meanwhile, the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music said he had received the information but had not had time to work with the faculty because he was busy with the school’s exam schedule. The Board of Directors will work and handle in accordance with the unit’s regulations.
