Zoids Wild Zero is a television series that continues the Zoids franchise, focusing on a post-apocalyptic setting where Earth has become uninhabitable. In this timeline, humanity migrates to Planet Zi, home to the mechanical life forms known as Zoids. Years later, as Zi approaches its end, the inhabitants attempt to return to Earth and restore it through a process called Zi-Forming. The plan fails, leaving Earth in a state of environmental chaos with unstable weather and overrun by Zoids. The series depicts the struggle of human settlements, including the Empire and Republic, as they attempt to survive and uncover the mysteries of the Zoids. Produced as part of a cross-media relaunch of the franchise, the show incorporates new toy designs, manga, and video game elements. It was streamed between 2018 and 2019 and marks the final series produced by Allspark Animation.
