Overview

Wildfire is an American teen drama television series that aired on ABC Family from June 2005 to May 2008. The show was created by Michael Piller and Christopher Teague and produced by Lionsgate Television, Piller², and The Segan Company. The narrative follows eighteen-year-old Kris Furillo, who is given the opportunity to start a new life after serving time at a juvenile detention center. Her talent with horses is recognized by a volunteer and local trainer, who arranges a job for her at the Ritter family-run ranch. The series stars Genevieve Padalecki, Nicole Tubiola, Nana Visitor, and Greg Serano. The production company Piller and The Segan Company would later merge into Piller/Segan to produce the series Greek. This program focuses on the experiences of a troubled teenager receiving a second chance at life through her work with the ranch family.
