The television series "Voltes V" revolves around a group of individuals who have been specially trained to defend the Earth against an alien invasion. The Boazan Forces, a mysterious alien race, have invaded the planet, threatening its inhabitants. A team of pilots, consisting of Kenichi, Ippei, Daijirou, Hiyoshi, and Megumi, operate the Choudenji Machine Voltes V, a defense mechanism designed to counter the Boazan and their Beast Warriors.
