The television series "Voltes V" revolves around a group of individuals who have been specially trained to defend the Earth against an alien invasion. The Boazan Forces, a mysterious alien race, have invaded the planet, threatening its inhabitants. A team of pilots, consisting of Kenichi, Ippei, Daijirou, Hiyoshi, and Megumi, operate the Choudenji Machine Voltes V, a defense mechanism designed to counter the Boazan and their Beast Warriors. The pilots are driven by their desire to uncover the truth behind their father's disappearance and their own heritage, which is slowly revealed as the series progresses.
