The television series "Fighting General Daimos" is a story about a group of individuals from two planets who are interested in signing a peace treaty. This event prompts a reunion between General Lion and a renowned scientist, Dr. Ryūzaki. However, their meeting is cut short by General Lion's untimely death. The death sets off a chain of events, including the killing of Dr. Ryūzaki by General Lion's vengeful son, Richter. This act of violence leads to the start of a war. In response to the escalating conflict, Dr. Ryūzaki's son, a young martial artist, decides to defend his home planet with the help of a powerful robot called Tōshō Daimos.
