Overview

The Incredible Hulk is an American television series based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Created by Kenneth Johnson, the program aired on the CBS television network between 1977 and 1982. The series stars Bill Bixby as Dr. David Banner, Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk, and Jack Colvin as Jack McGee. The narrative follows a scientist who is exposed to radiation during an experiment gone bad. As a result of this incident, he transforms into a raging green behemoth whenever he experiences extreme emotional stress or agitation. Unable to control these involuntary transformations, the scientist lives as a fugitive while traveling across the country in search of a cure for his condition. Throughout his journey, he is pursued by a dogged tabloid reporter named Jack McGee who remains on his trail. The show depicts the protagonist's ongoing struggle to manage his curse while attempting to maintain a low profile in his efforts to find a medical resolution to his unique situation.
