Overview
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an American animated television series produced by the Nickelodeon Animation Studio. Developed by Ciro Nieli, Joshua Sternin, and Jennifer Ventimilia, the CGI program serves as a modern entry in the long-running franchise. The narrative follows four brothers named Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello, who are mutated by a mysterious alien substance. Upon reaching their fifteenth birthday, the turtles surface from the sewers into New York City for the first time. They quickly discover that life above ground is more challenging than they initially anticipated. To survive and protect their new environment, the siblings must learn to operate as a cohesive team while confronting various new enemies that threaten the city. The series originally aired from 2012 until 2017. During its fifth and final season, the show was titled Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The voice cast includes Sean Astin, Rob Paulsen, Greg Cipes, and Mae Whitman. The show is currently available to viewers through various digital streaming platforms.
