Rip Off Britain is a BBC One series that aims to expose and address consumer issues in Britain. The show began in 2009, presented by former news journalists, including Angela Rippon and Gloria Hunniford. The series helps consumers navigate and resolve problems related to rip-offs and unfair practices. From the second series onwards, the show was adapted into a 30-minute format, airing in a prime time slot on Friday evenings. Julia Somerville replaced one of the original presenters, Jennie Bond, from series three onwards. The show continues to provide assistance to consumers dealing with various issues.
