Overview
The television series Ranking of Kings is an anime adaptation that premiered in 2021. It is based on a story that takes place in a world where kings are ranked. The series follows the journey of a kindly little hearing-impaired prince who sets off to become a powerful king despite all odds. The people of the kingdom look down on the young prince, calling him "The Useless Prince" while jeering at his supposed foolishness. The series was produced by Wit Studio and aired on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block. An anime film adaptation has been announced, in addition to a spin-off series titled Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage, which aired from April to June 2023.
