Overview

Plunderer is a 2020 television series set in a post-apocalyptic world governed by a system known as Numbers. In this society, every human carries a branded Count that reflects specific aspects of their life, such as the distance they have walked or the number of compliments they have received. If an individual's Count reaches zero, they face the threat of being sent to the abyss. The narrative follows a character named Hina, who resides in the year 305 of the Alcian calendar. Following the death of her mother, whose Count dropped to zero, Hina inherits a mission to locate the Legendary Red Baron. During her journey, she encounters a swordsman named Licht. Licht wears a half-mask and actively attempts to conceal his true identity from others. The series explores the challenges Hina faces as she navigates this world where personal identity is inextricably linked to these numerical values and the potential consequences of a depleted Count.
